The Set :

– 1 pair of Anode + Cathode

Specification :

– Anode : Platinum (Pt) coating on Titanium substrate, single side, provides excellent resistance to chemicals, and oxidation.
– Coating : 50g/m² : each anode get 0,25g of pure Pt metal and 2,5 to 3µm of coating thickness.
– Anode size : 100x50x1,5mm of working surface + 50x15x1,5mm connector, as the pictures.
– Cathode size : exactly the same as Anode
– The lifetime is high, but depends on the use conditions.
– Max current is 200 to 300mA/Cm2
– The shape has been design for 15 Amps.
– Max working temperature: 60 to 70°C
– This anode allow to electrolyze from chloride to perchlorate in one step.
– You should stop the perchlorate production when chlorate pass under 50g/Liter of brine because the Pt coating increase the slightly degradation.
– Durable and reliable laboratory equipment.
– This coating thick lifespan enable to produce 40/60Kg of perchlorate by starting from chlorate in a regular cell with stable PH and temperature.

Warning:

– The coating is quite sensitive, it can be scratch.
– Respect the max current to avoid fast degradation.
– Don’t reverse polarity, it will rapidly destroyed the electrodes
– Gas are dangerous and flammable, the running cell MUST work in appropriate place.
